The electronic visa for Qatar, also known as Qatar eVisa, allows all eligible visitors to enjoy travel related to tourism, business, and transit. The online visa program was introduced by the Qatar Government in 2017 to facilitate the visa application procedure for travelers from all around the world.
The Qatar eVisa application is truly effortless. All you need to do is complete the registration form with personal details, submit the documents essential for processing, and make the payment for the visa fee. The entire procedure should not take more than 20 minutes.
When your Qatar eVisa is authorized, you will receive an approval notice to your e-mail address. However, do not forget to print out your visa - it is essential to present a paper copy of your online visa on arrival to Qatar. Documents in digital forms are not accepted.
Regardless of the selected visa type, all Tourist eVisa, GCC Resident eVisa, and ETA Authorization for Qatar remain valid for 30 days. If you wish, you can request a visa extension on arrival to the country. The only exception is Transit eVisa which is effective for 4 days (96 hours).
